Can I add food without using AI?
Yes. You can add and edit food manually. Photo scans are optional and have usage limits; check your current allowance in the app.
Will Perio tell me whether food is safe to eat?
No. Perio tracks the dates you save; it does not assess food safety. Check the packaging and follow appropriate food safety guidance. AI scan results can be incorrect, so review them before saving.
How do expiry reminders work?
Set reminders for your items and allow notifications on your device. Delivery depends on device permissions and background settings. Keep checking your food and dates yourself.
Where can I get help or delete my account?
Visit Perio Support for account help and deletion instructions. You can delete your account from My account in the app.
